Dr. Liz Arthur

Dr. Liz Arthur was born and raised in Colorado and knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. The daughter of a Denver pediatrician, she was familiar with the demands and rewards of a career in medicine. She earned her doctorate at Colorado State University.

Dr. Arthur spent 15 years in Gunnison, CO where she co-owned a mixed animal practice. Moving back to the Front Range in 2015, she has enjoyed a focus on companion animals. She has particular interests in geriatrics, nutrition/preventative care and, most of all, educating and collaborating with families to support healthy and lasting bonds between pets and their people.

She is the happy new pet parent of Carol, a lovely 10 year old shepherd cross whom she adopted from Humane Colorado
